这一次，朱利安来到了墨西哥，他要完成他的又一个任务。一次偶然中，朱利安在墨西哥的酒吧里结识了名叫丹尼（格雷戈·金尼尔 Greg Kinnear 饰）的男子，丹尼是一个本分的生意人，和妻子在丹佛过着平静的生活，此次来到墨西哥是为了谈一笔生意以及挽救他和妻子之间的感情危机。在得知了朱利安的真实身份后，丹尼居然对此表示了极大的兴趣，而对于丹尼正常的人生轨迹，朱利安也十分羡慕，一段意外的友谊在两人之间展开。
