剧情梗概：
小双（麦浚龙饰）幼时最大的爱好是与父亲一起观看《宇宙大帝》并幻想自己是保卫地球的英雄，然而8岁那年，父亲因为保护警察而死在街头悍匪的抢下，小双的梦想从此破灭，只有好友孤儿大鹏仍然坚信他们的地球保卫队始终存在。小双因为身手出众，被韩先生（王羽饰）的松本集团召为保安，与大木（林家栋饰）等干将做了同事。小双因保护韩先生之女安妮（邓丽欣饰）得力，被派为后者的专属保镖，日日陪同。是夜，大木等老手下因不甘心利益被韩先生攫取，发动叛变，韩先生身亡，小双身负重伤，幸好被长期暗中保护他的神秘人救走，原来神秘人乃是当年小双父亲保护的警察之子。大木控制公司后为非作歹，小双遂与众好友街坊组成地球保卫队讨伐恶人！剧情版本二：茶餐厅伙计李小双幼年目睹父亲英勇牺牲，长大后练得一身非凡武艺，因此得到神秘社团招揽做保镖，还邂逅叛逆少女安妮。然而枪火无义，小双被卷入帮会的残酷内战，逼使他爆发基因中潜藏的正义能量！
