剧情梗概：
《Battery》连载于1996年-2005年，属于少年儿童文学类，讲述对自己的技术自信心爆棚的投手原田巧，以及和巧组成Battery的接球手永仓豪之间的故事。该作曾在2008年4月播出真人电视剧，此次由倒A出品制作动画并在7月播出。动画由ZERO-G制作，这是该社首次负责制作的TV动画。监督为以《听见涛声》、《暗与帽子与书之旅人》、《桃华月禅》等动画闻名的老牌监督望月智充。两位男主角分别由内山昂辉以及畠中佑配音。动画为半年番。原田巧是一个拥有超群棒球天赋的少年投手，在升上中学的时候，他搬到了山中的一个小镇新田市居住。在那里，巧预见能够接住自己全力投球的捕手永仓豪。加入了新田东中学棒球部的两人，时而与社团的同学产生纠纷，时而被老师们之间一些事由所摆布，时而两人相互之间也有着种种冲突，投手与捕手，这对投捕档就在这样的过程中一步一步成长着。
