剧情梗概：
2014年10月19日，人气系列动画《超时空要塞》发表消息称，新的历史即将开幕。这天，横滨的神奈川县举行了《超时空要塞7》的20周年纪念演唱会FIREBOMBER2014LIVE～BASARAEXPLOSION～，并在会场发布了最新消息，本系列将制作新的TV动画《超时空要塞Δ》。2015年10月29日，电视动画《超时空要塞Δ》的制作发表会举行。作品中将会出现首次以歌姬5人组成的战术音乐团体女武神。故事描述在《超时空要塞Frontier》之后的8年、A.D.2067年，为了缓和狂暴化的Vár-syndrome（ヴァールシンドローム），由五位少女所组成的战术音乐团体女武神（ワルキューレ）将会与Valkyrie部队（バルキリー部队）共同行动。但与此同时，风之王国的空中骑士团，这只神秘的Valkyrie部队也同时展开了行动。在今日的发表会，官方也同步公开了VF-31以及Sv-262两架将会於动画中登场的全新机体。
