《天保水浒传》是由著名导演内详导演的于2013年日本地区上映的一部类型的动画片,由大原幽学饭冈助五郎笹川繁藏主演,该片主要讲述了天保年间，日本利根川一带连年发生灾荒。当地两个恶霸为了争夺地盘，相互之间经常发生械斗。农民们既逢天灾更遭人祸，万般无奈只好纷纷逃往外地求条活路。浪人大原幽学说服了大名村长，通过讲学的方式教育农民，开展互助活动，同时积极打击赌博行为，竟渐渐形成了一派学说。大原幽学还帮助农民在农村建立了用于开展道德教育的改心楼;，并实行生产互助，成为早期农民协会的一种萌芽形式。官府知道之后开始担心大原幽学的影响进一步扩大，可能对政府权力产生威胁，便设计将其逮捕。众多的农民纷纷涌向官府为大原幽学请愿，大原幽学也成为了早期日本农民运动的领袖人物。
