剧情梗概：
皮埃尔（洪金宝饰）在上司阿石（金城武饰）的带领下破获了一宗大型毒品交易案，没收了大量毒品，将它们作为证据存放在警察局中。这批毒品系日本商人山本所有，为了销毁证据替自己脱罪，山本派出了一群亡命之徒狂徒帮，设计潜入警局夺回毒品。最终，毒品被偷走了，但警方活捉了其中一名罪犯。于是，狂徒帮绑架了皮埃尔的女友柔情（周海媚饰），相同警方交换人质。心急如焚的皮埃尔找到了同事兼好友王郁文（元彪饰），虽然两人先前有着因为小小误会而产生的矛盾，却在之后的相处中结下了深厚的友谊。皮埃尔、王郁文一行人深入敌后里应外合，同犯罪分子展开了激烈的较量。
