The Invisible Life is a film that depicts the inner world of Hugo, a middle-aged civil servant. Living by night in a palace in Lisbon, fascinated by the eight-millimeter film he had recently discovered among Antonio's belongings, Hugo recalls the moment Antonio told him he was going to die. Later, he inadvertently recalled his once beloved Adriana, but she now lived in another country thousands of miles away.
