剧情梗概：
《大镖客/用心棒/保镖》是由著名导演黑泽明导演的于1961年日本地区上映的一部剧情,动作类型的动作片,由三船敏郎仲代达矢山田五十铃志村乔东野英治郎加东大介主演,该片主要讲述了长途跋涉后，浪人听到一位父亲说年轻人不听劝告去赌博，又听小酒店的权爷说两个头头间有仇，便决定在村里住下来。浪人给一方头头清兵卫以杀掉三个不合作者获银五十两为条件，当了保镖。起名叫桑烟三十郎。可是女头头阿铃，打架取胜后说要是杀了保镖，50两银子就要回来。浪人偷听后，辞去了这份工作。当保镖的本间先生，在十字路口碰上了清兵卫和新田丑寅两家，怒目而视，浪人在一旁观战。丑寅的身边虽然跟着弟弟亥之吉，但他好打架。正在这时小弟卯之助来了，手里还有短枪，因而占了优势，三十郎见景立生一计，先把丑寅的两个打手抓来卖给清兵卫，再抢金币。然后又和丑寅商量，只要打手一通知抓到敌人就去取钱。可是丑寅抓了清兵卫的儿子做人质来要求交换被抓走的打手。对方杀了打手，这边也不放儿子。外表落魄邋遢的浪人武士三十郎（三船敏郎饰）来到一个小镇，清兵卫（河津清三郎饰）和新田丑寅（山茶花究饰）两家恶霸在那里为争夺地盘，招兵买马经常争斗，弄得民不聊生。三十郎决定从中设计，引诱双方雇佣自己，再加入不同方造成两边拼斗，由此坐收渔利，消灭对方。但随着丑寅弟弟卯之助（仲代达矢饰）的加入，情况又发生了不同，他手里握有短枪，占得优势，清兵卫的势力被打败，三十郎甚至也受伤不轻。但是决战在所难免，椿三十郎独对丑寅、亥之吉等众人，身处劣势的他如何能剿灭对方呢？
