剧情梗概：怪谈连篇是一部爱情,恐怖,奇幻片，下总羽生村的医生宗悦（岬洋二 饰）雪夜前往武士深见新左卫门（中村彰 饰）家催讨租金，结果惨遭杀害。宗悦尸体被沉于池底，然怨念不死，缠住仇家。新左卫门狂性大发，误杀妻子，自己也溺于池中。深见家老管家寅八（野崎喜彦 饰）怀抱主人尚在襁褓中的孩子，偷偷放在商人羽见屋的门口。                                                                    　　二十年后，被羽见屋收养的新吉（和田孝 饰）成长为英俊帅气的男儿，他与主人的千金阿久（北泽典子 饰）两情相悦，然碍于仆人身份未敢轻举妄动。阿久时常学习歌咏，她的师傅正是宗悦的女儿阿累（若杉嘉津子 饰），阿累也同样倾心于新吉。然上一辈的恩怨似乎未能就此了断……A blind masseur visits a samurai to request the return of a loan.
