剧情梗概：
抵抗运动的领导人之一杰彼耶杀死德国卫兵，逃出了国际集中营。不久，杰彼耶到英国接受戴高乐将军授勋，但在得知替代他的临时负责人菲力克斯被捕后，连夜乘飞机跳伞回国营救。几经曲折，他们始终未能救出同伴，菲力克斯和挚友弗朗索瓦在狱中服毒自杀。后来杰彼耶也遭被捕，玛蒂尔德精心策划把 他营救出来。就在杰彼耶养伤的过程中，玛蒂尔德却被捕了，并被敌人以女儿作人质威迫她供出同伴，但最后她却死在同伴的枪下。 本片中的人物与浪漫主义作品中的英雄人物不同，他们虽是为了集体和民族的利益而战，但也会因情感的软弱和个人的动机而屈服。影片格调深沉、色彩凝重，相当写实地还原了二战期间法国地下游击队的艰苦而冷酷的战斗生活，以低调朴实的纪实片风格塑造出几个英雄人物，把他们身处的孤立无援、危机四伏的困境都鲜明地表现出来，生动有力地表现了作者对抵抗运动及其时代的反思。


Jebel, one of the leaders of the resistance movement, killed the German guards and escaped from the international concentration camp. Soon, Jebel went to the UK to receive an honor from General de Gaulle, but after learning that Felix, the interim leader who replaced him, had been arrested, he parachuted back to the country overnight to rescue him. After several twists and turns, they still failed to rescue their companions. Felix and his best friend François committed suicide by taking poison in prison. Later, Jebel was also arrested, and Mathilde carefully planned to rescue him. While Jebel was recuperating, Mathilde was arrested, and the enemy used her daughter as a hostage to force her to confess to her companion, but in the end she died under the gun of her companion. The characters in this film are different from the heroes in romantic works. Although they fight for the interests of the collective and the nation, they also succumb to emotional weakness and personal motivation. The film has a deep style and dignified colors. It realistically restores the arduous and cruel fighting life of the French underground guerrillas during World War II. It portrays several heroes in a low-key and simple documentary style, and portrays the helpless and dangerous world they live in. The predicaments are clearly shown, vividly and powerfully expressing the author's reflection on the resistance movement and its era.
