电影《Once an Alien》的剧情简介：

In her debut feature film, the sci-fi documentary ONCE AN ALIEN, visual artist Semâ Bekirović accompanies her father on a journey to the country he fled during WWII as a child. Mirza, an inventor with a fascination for time travel, and Semâ travel through Bosnia and Herzegovina in a camper van. Along the way, they encounter diverse landscapes and people, revealing Mirza's bond with them based on shared displacement, nostalgia, and the longing to return to another time. The film combines personal stories, surrealistic scenes, and Mirza's traumatic childhood, inventions, and theories. Blurring the line between fantasy and reality, the film showcases art and creativity as essential tools for survival.
