Save The Cinema is a drama film starring Jonathan Pryce, Samantha Morton, and Tom Felton in the new film [Save The Cinema] (tentative translation). The film is directed by Sarah Sugarman ([The Prom Queen]) and Piers Ashworth wrote the script based on the story created by Welsh writer Lorraine King. It tells the true story of Liz Evans, a native of Carmarthen, Wales. ’s hairdresser and manager of a youth theater. She launched a campaign to save the Lyric Theater from closure in 1993, working with the then Mayor of Carmarthen, Richard Goodrich (who was changed to a local councilor in the film) to win the historic Steven Spielberg helped secure the rights to host a special premiere event for [Jurassic Park].
