Vermeer and Rembrandt are the twin pillars of the Golden Age of Dutch painting, yet Vermeer's works were neglected during his lifetime. Michael Gill is on his tracks, telling about the scientist Vermeer, who experimented with the Camera Obscura and the perspective, tells us about the cartography and the meanings, to piece together all informations about this silent citizen of Delft to a real genius.
