El documental narra la peculiar historia de un hombre y el legado de su creacion mortal: el arma AK 47, mas comunmente llamada Aka. Se estima que actualmente hay en el mundo mas de 100 millones de AK 47 en circulacion, y se produce en 19 paises. AK 47 es sinonimo de luchas armadas y batallas, y es el arma favorita de guerreros, revolucionarios, guerrillas, gangsters, terroristas, mercenarios y ejercitos.
Este dramatico documental nos traslada por distintas partes del mundo, desde un pequeno pueblo en los Urales donde Mikhail T. Kalashnikov, el inventor del arma aun vive de forma casi secreta con una modesta pension, a los refugios de las guerrillas en Afganistan, o a las calles de Los Angeles, donde la policia a menudo encuentra criminales comunes armados con letales AK47s.
English Synopsis:
The documentary tells the unique story of a man and the legacy of his mortal creation: the AK 47 weapon , more commonly called AK. It is estimated that there are currently in the world over 100 million AK 47s in circulation, and it's produced in 19 countries. AK 47 is synonymous with armed struggles and battles, and is the favorite weapon of warriors, revolutionaries, guerrillas, gangsters, terrorists, mercenaries and armies.
This dramatic documentary takes us to different parts of the world, from a small town in the Urals where Mikhail T. Kalashnikov, the inventor of the weapon still lives almost in secret, with a modest pension, to the shelters guerrillas in Afghanistan, or the streets of Los Angeles, where the police often find common criminals armed with lethal AK47s.
