剧情梗概：
醉心药理　　江东健（欧阳震华饰）乃医科毕业生，醉心研究药理，曾经与药厂合作研发一只治癌药物，因接受不了研发药物期间试药病人的死亡个案，令他中途退出转职为诊所医生。　　健自小与母亲金华喜相依为命。健自给自足地生活，却一直未能放下对父亲抛妻弃子的怨恨。跟达的再婚妻子宋楚乔（黄淑仪饰）又冤家路窄，诊所与乔的中医馆相邻。　　医药情缘　　健是个笨拙老实人，因长期专注读书及研药，社交圈子非常狭窄，爱情经验少之又少，直至在诊所邂逅了来看病的方小芳（杨怡饰）。健知道芳患上化学敏感症，更为芳研发敏感药。因要履行医生守则，三年内不能与病人发生感情关系，故没有在芳面前透露感情，一心等待「三年期满」才向芳表露心迹。岂料就在期满之前三天，芳表明是来应徵当护士，健马上答应请了芳。　　与魔相遇　　正当不谙感情事的健重遇芳时，竟遇上致命车祸，与邰风（林峯饰）双双撞车重伤。健心跳一度停止，在医院弥留之时，於梦中遇见「魔鬼」，健向魔鬼求情，指自己乃好人一名，尚有新药未研发成功，成功的话会将帮助很多病人，更有一个重要的女人未向她表白，不要就此夺去其性命。　　健死过翻生，马上向芳表白示爱，却换来芳的拒绝，教健失望不已。时风却竟以病人身份来向健求诊，健发现风无心跳，大惊，原来风已死，并化身为魔鬼，是来取健性命！　　CHOK魔契约　　健为保性命，遂跟风谈判！风提出打赌，如果证明健真的是如他口中的是个好人，就答应放他一马！健继续努力去做回原本的自己，尽力去扮演好人的角色，但发现真正的「好人」其实并不易为，加上风处处出手刻意刁难，令健几乎输掉打赌。　　健毅然再跟风谈判，指自己还有母亲要照顾，还有敏感药物未研制成功，也未成功追求得到芳，所有心愿未了不能就此死去。风借口要一尝做人的滋味，留在健的身边，更暗里助健完成心愿，全因健如愿，风便会取去其命。
