剧情梗概：
清朝末年，孟氏一族遭摄政王灭门，惟有小儿子孟二奎被大武生余胜英和徒弟关一龙所救。当年余胜英名满天下，可是却遭到岳江天的挑战，最终败北并丢掉摄政王赐给他武生泰斗的金匾，从此一蹶不振。多年后，关一龙（吴尊饰）与孟二奎（韩庚饰）已经长大成人，二人练就了一身本领，发誓要替师傅报仇。关、孟二人在上海初次登台，便战胜武生岳江天，为师父夺回武生泰斗的金匾，名声大震。而岳江天却不堪羞辱，当场自尽。岳江天的女徒弟刀马旦席木兰（徐熙媛饰）与师父感情甚好，在亲眼见证师傅的死之后对二人恨之入骨，但为了保住岳家戏班，她最终答应戏院老板与关、孟二人同台演出。自此，在歌舞升平的大上海，一段关于报复与阴谋的故事拉开了序幕本片由知名音乐人高晓松执导。剧情版本二：清末，孟氏家族因支持革命被摄政王定罪，满门抄斩。行刑当日，少年孟二奎侥幸被少年关一龙及其师傅大武生余胜英救下，幸免一死，自此拜师余胜英，与关一龙一起跟随师父习武唱戏，兄弟两人感情深厚。摄政王观看余胜英演出，赐武生泰斗金匾，却遭上海武生岳江天挑衅夺去金匾。余胜英从此一蹶不振，一龙（吴尊饰）二奎（韩庚饰）兄弟俩艰苦练武，誓为师父报仇。清朝末年，民国建立，兄弟俩长大学成，抱着为已故恩师复仇的念头直奔上海滩，挑战当时红透半边天的岳江天，岳江天落败不堪受辱当场自尽，兄弟俩夺回金匾。岳江天的女徒弟当家花旦席木兰（徐熙媛饰）为保住岳家戏班，忍痛答应剧院老板，与兄弟俩搭班唱戏。自此，他们三人卷入错综复杂的关系，展开一幕幕围绕着爱情、欲望、欺诈和背叛的故事。影片评论：感觉邹静之功底越来越深了，能埋下好几个伏笔却不至于让人起疑心，已经很不容易了。从这个角度讲，故事早已超越了什么《叶问》、《霍元甲》。大陆能让观众感叹原来是这样还没觉得是抄袭的编剧本就不多。之前微博上有影评人说同时选韩庚和吴尊太同质化了，因为他俩一个风格。我倒是觉得并不重复，两个人分别表演出了该有的气质。唯独刘谦，是选角的一个败笔，警察应该换个有霸气的形象来演，从头至尾感觉刘谦没入戏，或者说没hold住。兴许高晓松这个时候能躲在监牢里是件好事儿。想他一派才子做派，心高气傲，没准真真接受不了一众魑魅魍魉对《大武生》的恶言相向。在这个全民皆腐的年代里，一对儿武生唱主角的影片想不被人说腐都难。所以，尽管高晓松素来青睐小鸟依人型佳丽，但也难逃腐众因这部电影开始追溯探他的断背史，八卦他的性取向。这该让一位一心将电影视为世上最有魅力的事儿，将《大武生》比作生身骨肉的新锐导演情何以堪？今天去看了上午九点半的场次，这是这边影院《大武生》最早的一场。整个放映大厅只有六个人。特意选择坐在跟其他人有点距离的座位。不想因为我可能出现的情绪而影响到他人，反之亦然。由于网上在公映之前已经有看过首映的朋友写出了自己的影评，初看时，对这片子的评价最多的就是雷和基情。本身对这几位的组合就略带排斥的我在心里已经为这部片子划下了一个叉。一些细小的trick太明显了，比如，我们知道韩庚小盆友很会跳舞吧，所以在两兄弟群殴众人的场景中，我们看到韩庚小盆友非常柔韧地秀了一段，而切换到吴尊小盆友的时候，大多数的镜头都是简单地戳和砍。本来这也是应该的，因为要扬其所长避其所短，但如果连我都看出来了，那么就是掩盖修饰得不够好，很影响我看它的心情啊，以至于完全不觉得有什么好看的打斗场面（虽然作为一部没有高潮，而且要用唱戏地步伐打架的电影，还是两个奶油小生在打，要想打得很精彩很有魄力确实很有困难）
