剧情梗概：
1904年6月，伟大音乐家冼星海降生在澳门疍家的小船上，父亲在他未出生时就已被无情的大海吞噬。家境的贫寒，地位的低下，使幼年的星海（苏嘉航饰）饱尝了世道的艰难。伹逐渐长大的星海（王成阳饰）展现出音乐的天赋，他趁去葡国音乐学院送外卖的机会接触到了西洋音乐，妈妈（徐若瑄饰）和外公尽量给少年星海创造学习的机会，妈妈的自尊自强时刻影响着星海。不久，外公惨死，渔霸借机欺侮妈妈，母子二人不得已赴南洋谋生。在新加坡，星海遇见了恩师肖友梅（苏有朋饰），肖老师的出现对星海日后的成长起到了至关重要的作用......剧情版本二：这是一部描写在澳门疍家小船上诞生的冼星海，在妈妈的爱心抚育下艰辛成长的感人故事，穷困和失学、聪慧而勤奋让少年星海在社会底层中感悟人生道理，小星海在母亲、外公与葡国琴师那里开启了音乐的天赋，后来因生活所迫在新加坡又经恩师肖友梅的教导，张扬了他毕生音乐之路。幕后制作:创作背景该片编剧徐新是北京电影学院毕业生，1984年到澳门从事文编记者和史料研究工作，他发现人民音乐家冼星海1905年诞生在澳门疍家渔船上，是当时最受歧视的疍家人，母亲是小星海第一个启蒙老师，后得到葡萄牙琴师的点拨和恩师肖友梅的教育，其音乐天赋得到了发挥。感到冼星海童年的鲜为人知的传奇历史，是一个很好的电影题材，于是落笔成文。2004年3月，在北京电影学院徐新的大师兄李前宽，作为中国电影基金会会长率内地电影代表团访问澳门时，两位学兄一拍即合。李前宽表示一定要把这部作品搬到银幕上。直到2009年澳门归祖国十周年，拍摄电影《星海》便成为内地与澳门、以及港、台同仁共同关心的事。电影《星海》是由中国电影基金会策划，得到澳门基金会的大力支持，在国家广电总局电影局和中央驻澳门联络办文教部的热情关怀下促成，由北京银梦影视文化有限公司，大连东方影视有限公司、澳门沙龙文化传媒公司、香港沙龙电影公司和中国电影集团儿童电影制片厂联合摄制。影片评论：现在已经凌晨了，稍查了一下资料，还没有特别细量得查证事实与影片情节的插入。该影片据称是为迎接澳门回归10周年和新中国成立60周年而拍摄的、电影情节肯定是有所美化，艺术化的处理，但是不可否认的是冼星海作为我国著名的音乐家，国歌的曲作者他具有深深的人格魅力。或许这种可敬的人格魅力从他的童年，从他的母亲身上保留升华而展现的吧！该片所传达的中国文化价值令人感动，在中国母亲身上的伟大母爱是人类共同的美德（第35届蒙特利尔国际电影节主席洛赛克评）。许多加拿大观众看完影片都流下了感动的热泪，他们认为，以前的中国电影往往看到的是中国功夫多么精彩，这部电影让他们看到中国的道德观，以及母亲在最困难的生活境遇中对孩子的爱，看到了中国电影的柔情一面。
