剧情梗概：
任职于金融机构的周定发（周润发饰）。他分别认识了做空姐的Sally（叶倩文饰）跟开时装店的祖儿（王祖贤饰）。周定发面对两位天姿国色都无法下决定，难舍其一，于是分别在英国及法国跟两女子结婚。婚后他们回到香港，周定发在好友志雄（李子雄饰）的帮助下努力周旋与两个老婆之间，笑料百出。可是事情到了后来都是让两个老婆知道了真相，Sally与祖儿气愤不已，打算联合起来报复周定发。电影评价：看这种片就不要想太多其他逻辑或什么情感东西，开心就好，因为且不说可能性，但是两边瞒和里面出现的事件，就够强悍了，其实导演就是要让观众开心和感受到发仔左右逢源的尴尬等趣事而已。不过我还真有点疑惑，虽然以中国之大，两个女人有一个共同的男人并不少，但要是两个女人是真心喜欢这个男人，而且两个女人之间认识并且能够容忍，不知道是不是存在。很小的时候就看过的影片，当时就看过很多遍，没想到偶然重温，依然爆笑好玩，其实随着时间推移，搞笑的程度会递减，何况还是看过的剧情，但是再一次观看仍然开心地笑了，不得不说电影笑点还是有质量的。周润发在里面的扮相其实一点不帅，但是就是居家的形象居然俘虏了两位大美女，一个是服装店的老板，一个是空姐，我想任何一个男人都不容易在这两个女人之间抉择吧，更好玩的是剧情，一个丈夫在两个妻子之间周旋，找死党帮忙，耍小计谋，糊弄警察，偶尔出尽洋相，偶尔出尽风头。
