剧情梗概：
蒂尔原来是一名出色的赛车手。由于在一次赛车中出了事故，被车队解雇。先是被女朋友赶出家门，然后又流落到一家运输公司开卡车，常常是饥一顿饱一顿。但是蒂尔的心中还常常梦想着重返赛车场。在一次出车的过程中，他目睹了一起抢劫案，由此改变了他的命运。案件的焦点是被人隐藏在雪景工艺品中的高级芯片。由于它是最高科技的产物，几个方面都想得到它。女抢劫犯丽最先得到它，并在警察的追捕中慌忙逃上了蒂尔的车。蒂尔在无意中帮她躲过警察，二人开始踏上了漫漫的逃亡之路。二人从报纸上看到这块芯片价值七百万，于是想把它卖掉。丽打电话找到她的老朋友奥利弗，请他作中间人。可是狡猾的黑社会头目劳斯考嗅到了蛛丝马迹，找到奥利弗，用重刑逼他说出丽的下落。劳斯考的打手迪努找到蒂尔和丽的每一个落脚点，而他们二人每一次都奇迹般地逃脱。最后他们来到与奥利弗约好的接头地点，却不知道奥利弗已经被心黑手辣的劳斯考害死，他自己亲自来接货。而警察贝克和歌诺夫也早已追踪到此，藏身在楼顶监视着他们的一举一动。经过激烈的枪战，各方都得偿心愿，警察夺回了芯片，蒂尔和丽得到了七百万巨款，劳斯考和他的打手下了地狱。
