剧情梗概：
居住在青森乡下的青年水木阳一（松山ケンイチ饰）过着简单平凡的生活，他每日里按照爷爷留下的录音护理田间的作物，间或随着阿嬷走街串巷，叫卖这令他引以为豪的有机蔬菜。许是过于专注自己的生活，现实中的阳一行为举止颇为古怪，喜怒皆形于色，也因此给周围人带来诸多麻烦。某天，东京女孩神泉町子（麻生久美子饰）来到青森。她在不久前刚刚失去男友，在占卜师的建议下町子进入当地一家幼儿园任职，准备展开新的生活。阳一为町子所吸引，展开了热烈却让人心烦的攻势。在一次和小孩们的玩耍中，阳一昏迷过去，醒来后性情居然发生了变化本片荣获2009年电影旬报十佳影片第7名、第24回高崎电影节最佳男主角奖。剧情版本二：在青森县务农的青年水木阳人独自过着悠闲的生活。他服从死去的爷爷的建议种菜，但菜上总是满是虫洞。天天阳人都和邻居奶奶一起去卖菜。一天，他们去金城幼儿园卖菜，阳人碰到了新来的町子老师，就此坠入情网。此后，阳人天天去找她，过于热情的他让町子很为难。町子原本住在东京，男朋友在一场出事故中死去，至今头颅尚未找到，町子服从占卜师大神的建议才来到了青森。阳人因为在卖菜时胡闹被奶奶禁止外出。他和小学生在地里玩，做了某个尝试。这天深夜，阳人醒来发现自己躺在医院里。奶奶和三泽医生对忽然变得安静的阳人大为讶异。阳人虽然性格起了变化，但他依然热恋着町子。他问町子：以前的我和现在的我，哪个好？现在的吧为了让町子喜欢上自己，阳人决定再做一次尝试。他去找好朋友阿太友换某样东西，在小屋里忙到深夜。阳人究竟要做什么？喧闹的孩子们、撒农药的飞机、哼唱、耳鸣、进化、脑子，毫不相关的片段融为一体，故事朝着出乎意料的结局发展而去
