剧情梗概：
2011年3月11日，突如其来的东日本大地震带走了成千上万鲜活的生命，也让无数人的命运就此发生转变。被灾区的景象所震动，在仙台经营小诊所的川岛贞一（三浦友和饰）依然留在灾区为民众们提供最及时的治疗。他在某医疗中心担任麻醉科主任的妻子隆子（铃木京香饰）被迫接受两地分居的现状，却给予丈夫最大的支持和安慰。川岛的随行护士护士吉田美菜（中越典子饰）开朗体贴，她念念不忘的是死于震灾的丈夫。隆子麾下的麻醉医生鹰峰纯子（贯地谷诗穗梨饰）无法坦然接受自卫队员三崎大树（渡边大饰）的表白，因为三崎当初找到了她父亲的尸体，每当面对三崎她便会想起生命中最为悲痛的一幕。灾难已然过去，可是人们心中的伤疤久久无法愈合……本片根据仙台医疗中心麻醉科主任兼手术管理部长川村隆枝的原作《不必担心手术室里有守护神（心配ご無用――手術室には守護神がいる）》改编。
