剧情梗概：
杨策划一宗抢劫案，令马会大量现金被劫。保险公司职员林爱上杨，并私下与张督察合谋，劝告杨暗中交回劫款，而张督察却私容劫款。杨唯有将案件重演，令张自投罗网。杨紫琼在演完此片后嫁给了本片的监制潘迪生先生剧情版本二：**发作有史以来最大抢劫案，**赛马会的三千万港币现金在押运途中被劫，且劫案进程经过精细想象，毫无线索可循。平安公司调查员林冲（林子祥）与张督察（郑则士）均授命调查此案，林在调查进程中觉察案件的进程与某部电影的情节相似，疑心是有钱人寻觅抚慰，从世界各地召集人马作案，然后聚集各地，所以才会隔绝一切线索，张督察事先对林的区分模棱两可，但渐渐被林压服。林与张的目光集合在了富家女杨宁（杨紫琼）身上，杨虽具有亿万身家，但由于生活孤独，热爱追求抚慰冒险。林假扮游客与杨结识，两人斗智斗力，相互惺惺相惜，林虽明知杰案是杨所为，但苦于找不到证据。而且在接触中两人居然发生了倾慕之情，林于是劝杨将赃款公开交出，以防止警方的追究，杨欣然应允，并交出赃款。可是张督察居然将劫款私吞，还反咬一口说杨宁没有交出赃款，无法之下，杨唯有把案件重演，用巧计令张自投罗网
