剧情梗概：
太阳到达最高点的时候，它的影子便消失了。刑警韩东秀（韩石圭饰）为了证实自己对一起已有定论的杀人案的猜想，致使自己的儿子意外身亡，从此变得意志消沉起来。14年后，一桩杀人案似乎和当年这起案件有着某种联系，当韩东秀再一次开始关注起当年一名被害人的儿子有汉（高修饰）时，意外认识正在帮助财团老板调查未婚妻柳美皓（孙艺珍饰）的私家侦探，从私家侦探那里得知这名叫柳皓美的女人正是当年被认为是畏罪自杀的凶手的女儿李佳。当年这两个韩东秀曾经有怀疑过的小孩子如今长大成人，而且又同样因为凶杀案出现在他的周围。在韩东秀的追查过程中，他发现了当年凶杀案以及近期凶杀案的真相，而真相背后，却是一对永远不能在光天化日之下见面的苦恋情侣。影片改编自日本著名推理小说家东野圭吾的同名小说《白夜行》。小说曾在日本被拍成电视剧，并大获成功。电影评价：首先，孙艺珍的确是演出了李佳极其复杂多变捉摸不透的一方面，但是李佳应该是一个年纪轻轻的邪恶女孩，她的年纪小更加衬托出她内心的恐怖，不仅是因为外部环境的促使，还有她自身年纪小才有的一些极端世界观问题。相比孙艺珍真的是老龄了。孙艺珍这个角色选得极好，外表端庄内心阴暗。高修是个帅哥，可惜这个片戏份被老警察抢去大半，没有他太大的发挥空间。美术上颇有想法，两个主人公始终一黑一白。孙艺珍大部分时间都是一身白衣，高修则从头穿黑穿到尾。一方面孙艺珍一直是暴露在公开场合，是阳光的一面；高修则是始终躲在暗处干脏活的，是阴暗的一面。另一方面也暗示了两人永远处于不同世界，黑白分明，像两条平行线，永远没有交集。对于孙艺珍与高修所扮演的男女主角来说，一个卖萌装纯清纯完美的让人产生不真实感，一个展示了狂放肌肉的型男让人又爱又恨。而我个人心目中的雪穗是一个冷淡高雅让人产生距离感的美人，而亮司是一个阴冷长像并不出众也不怎么高大的男人。电影的结尾与小说保持了高度的一致，一个开放式的结尾，男主角坠楼而亡在女主角面前，女主角的心情，那就大家各自去猜想了，是庆幸她的帮凶已死，她与所有凶案再没有任何的牵连，能安心地过上豪门生活，还是她此刻伤心欲绝，曾经同病相联深爱的俩个人却没能等到执子之手白头皆老的一天。无论此时女主角的心情是暗爽还是悲痛，男主角的纵身一跳，似乎在说，相濡以沫，不如相忘于江湖。
