剧情梗概：
靠已亡故的姐姐陶碧槐（谢玲玲）和差点成为姐夫的江淮（秦汉）的不断资助和鼓励，在英国念戏剧的陶丹枫（林青霞）终于学成归国。而由于不断的通信，她和江淮已生出“恋情”。在与姐姐的生前好友谈话时，姐姐不是因心脏病而是江淮另外爱上了别的女人而死的念头从陶丹枫心头冒出，她立誓查出姐姐死亡的真相，并决定报复江淮。一面，陶丹枫以冷艳凄美的女性形象令江淮对她欲罢不能；一面，她装扮成热情开放的青春少女，将江淮最心爱的四弟江浩（马永霖）迷得魂不守舍。靠着多年所学，她的表演没有留下一丝破绽，然而她不知的是，在爱上她之前，江淮心里从来就只有陶碧槐一个人，而陶碧槐的死因，其实在她。
