剧情梗概：
一个偏僻的小镇，一个普通的火车站，一个平常得不能再平常的一天即将在火车的轰鸣声中结束时，一列火车缓缓驶入站台，一个叫米恩的男人下了火车。他虽然是第一次出现在这个小镇，却对这里没有丝毫的陌生感，因为对于一个已经对生活不抱任何希望的人来说，到哪里都是一样的。　　在一个准备关门的药店里，米恩打算买些阿斯匹林来治疗自己的间歇性头痛，在这里他遇到了退休教师马内基斯。3天后，马内基斯要做一个生死死关的手术，而米恩则要和他的同伙实施早已安排好的计划——抢劫小镇上的一家银行，两个男人都在等待着死亡的判决，而他们之间似乎也因此变得有些心有灵犀。当身后药店的霓虹灯熄灭之后，他们走在了同一条街道，并且朝着同一个方向。于是两人开始了小心谨慎的交谈，发现彼此竟然很谈得来，因为他们都很想了解对方的生活。马内基斯是一名退休教师，也是一个有梦想的实干家，一个喜欢追求刺激和冒险的人，但多年来，规律的教师生活几乎把他的冒险精神和梦想都消耗殆尽了；而米恩则是一个少言寡语的人，他的生活随时都充满了危险，他渴望的是有一天能够过上和平安宁的生活。

A remote town, an ordinary railway station, an ordinary one -day day that is about to end in the roar of the train, a train slowly entered the platform, and a man named Mien got off the train.
