剧情梗概：
警视厅搜查一课内逮捕率名冠榜首的女刑警雪平夏见（筱原涼子饰），在过去的许多年里始终孜孜不倦追查曾经身为刑警的父亲遇害背后的秘密。为了得到真相，她曾经历了常人难以想象的危险和痛苦的生离死别。而当她离警察内部黑暗的真相越来越近的时候，死神的脚步也愈加清晰。在上一次被卷入射钉枪杀人事件之后又过了四年，夏见历经千辛万苦总算掌握了秘密组织暗中操纵国家的重要证据，她耐心等待着一击必杀的反击时刻。某天她见到一具高空坠落之死的尸体，现场发现了自十年前推理小说事件开始后就经常出现的书签，而死者竟然就是四年前曾和她协同判案并且和秘密组织多有瓜葛的检察官村上克明（山田孝之饰）。至此，村上克明及其父亲——原检察官总长村上成明均死于连续杀人事件。此后不久，情报处理专家津岛直纪（永山绚斗饰）作为重要嫌疑人受到警方调查，而夏见则被任命为连续杀人事件的调查官。津岛高呼冤枉，他声称自己正是因为试图揭露警察组织的黑幕而遭到诬陷，并且毫不犹豫地指出了真正的嫌疑人。虽然警察队伍中只有夏见才相信他的说辞，不过津岛最终在夏见的帮助下逃脱警方的监控。另一方面，最高检察厅监察指导部的检察官武部将臣（AKIRA饰）对村上父子与神秘组织有染一事倍感疑惑，他尝试拜托夏见搜寻相关情报。而在追查案件的过程中，本该死去的恋人一条道孝（佐藤浩市饰）遽然现身警告夏见危险正在逼近。为了得到夏见手中的绝密资料，神秘组织全面展开行动。夏见一方也知晓决战时刻的到来，她豁出性命，与无所不用其极的恶魔们进行最后的决战……
