剧情梗概：
自从赢得世界大赛之后，农用飞机尘土已经成为尽人皆知的草根冠军。可是有一天在练习时，他的身体发现异样。经检查后得知他的变速箱出了问题，该型号变速箱由于老旧已经停产，这也意味着尘土再也无法参加激烈的比赛。一天夜里，不甘失败的尘土继续挑战极限，结果引发弯角服务站机场加油站的大火。虽然侥幸扑灭火灾，但是由于机场安全消防措施不过关，面临着被关闭的命运。眼看就到了机场玉米节狂欢，在场的每一个人都提心吊胆。感觉负主要责任的尘土主动要求参加消防员的培训，在此之后他结识了有着丰富丛林火灾扑灭经验的刀锋、乘风者、北斗星等新伙伴。《飞机总动员2：火线救援》是电影《飞机总动员》的续集又名《飞机总动员2》。影片于2014年7月18日美国上映。电影主要讲述Dusty和他的团队志愿参加了营救某国家自然保护公园的紧急行动，他们将与灭火队一起展开救援。在此过程中，Dusty经历了千钧一发的生死时刻，最终也懂得了什么才叫做真正的英雄。评价：首先表示对主角深感痛惜的，一个为梦想而执着的追梦者，被无情的命运打得遍体鳞伤，不过他还是勇敢的坚持过来了。在第一部，主角达斯蒂（DustyCrophopper）他是农用机，为了比赛的梦想而拼搏，最终获得了成功，终于登上冠军的宝座。但是他的命运还是无法改变的，的确是被瑞普斯林（Ripslinger）说对了：在怎么改造，你也无法改变是农用机的现实。不是比赛的料，无法做到像专业赛手那样。果然在第二部，就出了问题。在电影开头，达斯蒂赢得了多场比赛的胜利，获得了冠军，登上了报纸（报纸上有客串，报纸左上角是闪电麦昆LightningMcQueen）。正当他和他的导师斯基普（SkipperRiley）一起飞行的时候，达斯蒂的引擎不堪重负，一下子突然坏掉了。（可能是有耐久度的，比赛中已经磨损了，这次飞行是压死一个骆驼的最后一根稻草）达斯蒂就从空中掉下来了，Skipper把他带到了多蒂（Dottie）的修理厂。当多蒂检查后，才发现引擎已经是永久性的损伤了，当指针达到红线范围就会报警直至坏掉，不能在参加比赛了。当他知道自己钟爱一生的项目比赛，不能再次参加后，感到天都塌了。为了比赛的梦想，眼看已经实现，却不能享受这一梦想带来的硕果，心情跌倒谷底。愤怒之下，跟多蒂小吵了一架。
