剧情梗概：
从事着体力劳动职业的智辉（黄品源饰）工作勤勤恳恳，每日所得也只是勉强能够填补家中的开支，然而，生活即便如此艰难，但智辉依旧坚持着他善良做人乐观向上的精神。灾难在不经意间降临了，经过医生的诊断，智辉的妻子秀美（侯怡君饰）年纪轻轻竟然被查出小脑萎缩，也就是人们常说的老年痴呆症，看着病情逐渐加重的妻子，无能为力的智辉心中充满了痛苦。绝望过、愤怒过、悲伤过，随着时间的流逝，智辉渐渐驱散了内心的阴霾，他决定好好利用所剩不多的时光，和妻子一同留下独一无二的回忆，就这样，一段既感伤又美好的环岛之旅拉开了序幕。剧情版本二：跟许多蓝领阶级一样，智辉每天在大太阳下挥汗工作，直到妻子秀美检查出小脑萎缩；由于秀美身体的改变，也让智辉有重大的转变；从原本不能接受，直到接纳，并带着秀美去环岛；这一切重大的转变，不只改变了智辉一家人，也改变了周遭人的看法，尤其医生的态度；这很可能是现今社会普遍的问题。罕见疾病的治疗，在现在医疗发达的社会，尚处于弱势族群。因庞大的经费问题，没有药厂愿意为他们研究并开发新药，导致于太多罕见疾病患者，患病后只能制、缓和病情，无法治疗；尤其片中所提及的小脑萎缩，十多年来，病患几乎是在等死，这些现实的种种，在影片中也将一并点出。
