剧情梗概：
在浩瀚的宇宙深处，驻扎在某小行星的地球联邦军队凯西堡垒遭到宿敌虫子大军的攻击。强袭舰雅丽莎号的彪勇战将奉命救援，在这个沦陷的基地内，却发生令人费解的一幕。超能力战略官员卡尔詹金斯博士将卡门所负责的战列舰约翰A沃顿号的指挥权夺走，不知下落。战争的最后，雅丽莎号的战士们救出幸存者，小星星也在爆炸中灰飞烟灭。为了查清消失的战列舰的下落，强尼瑞克命令返航途中的雅丽莎号迅速掉转船头，追赶约翰A沃顿号。效用彪悍的勇士们合二为一，开始了新的漫漫征途。影评1997年保罗范霍文推出第一部《星河战队》，刚猛的武器、浩大的场面和外星昆虫的凶残狰狞着实令我们大开眼界，可惜之后的两部续集后劲不足，直接丢入DVD和录像带市场。事隔多年，新一集的《星河战队》居然交由鬼子执棒，全片CG动画，风格颇似《最终幻想》，场面火爆，视效强悍，且有少量露点镜头，总体来说还算不错，可惜仍然无法公映，直接发行DVD和BD，想来制片公司对票房前景仍不乐观。影片金属感很强。通常电影需要观众中止怀疑的理由设在所属类型这一级。为什么独自在家宝贝赛斗龙中的坏蛋怎么折腾都不受伤？因为是合家欢的儿童喜剧。为什么以民国现代为故事背景的成龙作品还在拳脚功夫论胜负？因为摆明告诉你以动作为核心的功夫电影惟独星河战队是个例外！那个与未来星际大战背景有着明显落差的原始步兵作战方式在科幻类型上找不到任何托词，完全是作品自身的概念与视觉震撼为自己树起一道防波堤：你要进影院来看。只是这次《星河战队：入侵》却有点特别：竟然被拍成了一部动画片！但也恰恰因为这点特别，才遭遇到了前面三部所不曾有过的质疑。要知道，星河系列之所以能自造独门免责金牌，完全是建立在真人电影的基础上。因为你只有真人演出与魔蝎的血拼（即使画面采用了电脑合成），真人男女胴体出现在同一浴室或同一体检台，才可换取观众对你为什么不扔核弹不搞地毯式轰炸不以巨型坦克平趟的谅解！而当这一切的前提条件都因动画虚拟而不复存在之后，我们自然也就无法再继续认同你作战方式的原始落后。直到2012年，看了这部动画版的《入侵》。日本人制作的3D动画，似乎真的没看过，只记得当年惨败的《最终幻想》，也还是没看。这次尝试了一下，还是有特色的。绝对没有电影中对演员的怜惜，最终整个A1和K12小队，只活了3个战士吧，每个牺牲的战士都没一个孬种。另外几个女战士实在是正点，对宅男有着致命杀伤力。全片基本上都是局部小战役，并没有探讨宏大的世界观，毕竟连90分钟都没到，所以作为一个外传性质的分支，基本是合格的。
