《七武士》是由著名导演内详导演的于2008年日本地区上映的一部类型的动画片,由冈本胜四郎主演,该片主要讲述了根据日本电影巨匠黑泽明导演的人气电影《七武士》所改编的TV动画SAMURAI7现在已预定于今年6月在SKYPerfectTV!上映。有趣的是这似乎是一部机械人动画《七武士》的故事发生在一个未来世界中，虽然称之为未来世界，但当中并非所以事物都流露着未来的感觉，有时也会出现一些古旧的建筑物或场景，以另一角度来看，这或许是一个新旧事物交错的未来世界。留意角色们那布满古日本时代的妆扮，以及那充斥着水管及蒸气的机械化城市，七位武士在未来城市中穿梭飞驰，以击倒各式各样机械人为目标，藉此拯救这个人类世界中最后的城市...某个时代，战争随处可见，大量的巨大舰艇和机器武士在天空中混战。没有胜利者的欢呼，只有失败武士落寞的身影和失去土地的农民的哀号。逃离战场的部分流浪武士变成了山贼，他们到处抢夺农民的粮食与女人。由于惧怕山贼，农民们只能敢怒不敢言，并进一步成为了山贼们的粮食生产地。某个村落里的一小部分农民无法再忍受山贼的行为，在村里长老的建议下，有叁个人站出来，愿意去寻找可以帮助他们击退山贼的武士，他叁人寻找了很久，但找来的武士，却几乎都在吃饱喝足后扬长而去。只有热心帮助他们的年轻武士冈本胜四郎留了下来。唯一被他们看中的岛田勘兵卫却又因为无心战争而拒绝了邀请。不过，事情总有转机，命运的锁链已开始编织他们的相遇：七个武士将会在这里集结。
