剧情梗概：
贝多芬在主人及孩子的呵护下，生活悠闲，可是它感觉寂寞难耐，尤其是漫步公园时，眼见其他狗群出双入对，更是羡慕不已；直至它遇上同种的母狗露西以后，贝多芬终于堕入情网，不管如何艰辛，誓言要夺得美人归。但是事情并没有那么顺利，露西的男主人布鲁诺正在与妻子瑞吉娜协议离婚，为了争得抚养金，瑞吉娜硬生生地带走了母狗露西。这下可急坏了贝多芬，美人有难，英雄怎可坐视不管？贝多芬的真诚打动了小狗露西，答应了它的求爱。由于上次勇破贼窟，母狗露西为它生下名为柴科夫斯基的四条犬儿，贝多芬升格为老爹，成了一家六口之主。不料，露西的主人瑞吉娜心肠恶毒，硬要拆散这对美满姻缘，并计划偷走四只小狗换取金钱。还好在孩子们的帮助下，四只小狗才幸免遇难，但这些小家伙的饲养可成了一个问题，如果让爸爸知道家里又多出四只小狗，他非疯了不可。于是三个孩子肩负起了轮流照顾刚出生的小狗的责任，但纸包不住火，这件事情还是被爸爸发现了。禁不住孩子们的软磨硬泡和贝多芬苦苦哀求的眼神，本就心底善良的爸爸在一阵脾气过后终于同意四只小狗留在家中。虽然这给一家人本已计划好的度假带来麻烦，但这并不妨碍他们开心的度假生活。但此时一双危险的眼睛早已盯上了四只小狗，这个人就是露西阴险的女主人瑞吉娜，在度假的小村庄她想方设法偷走了四只小狗。没想到，一时疏忽，贝多芬早已带着老婆露西私奔，逃到山上。这下可威胁到了瑞吉娜的抚养金，气急败坏的她拉着男友就追了上去，贝多芬的主人一家也紧随其后，拯救小狗们。当然，故事的结局是圆满的。经过几番波折，在贝多芬及主人一家的通力合作下，阴险的瑞吉娜和他那愚蠢的男友自食恶果，掉入河中，而小狗贝多芬一家也终于重新团聚。
