《八犬传东方八犬异闻第二季》是由著名导演内详导演的于2013年其它地区上映的一部类型的动画片,由柿原彻也日野聪高垣彩阳主演,该片主要讲述了「八犬传-东方八犬异闻-」是由阿部美幸创作的漫画。作品讲述了在五年前，其它村庄的人为了防止谜之疫病蔓延，将大冢村全部烧毁。而在这次事件中幸存的信乃、荘介、浜路受到了教会的保护，平静地生活着。在大冢村被烧毁的事件之后，信乃和荘介具备了特殊的能力，听到此传言的教会总部为了传唤两两人而出谋划策将浜路拐走。为了救浜路而前往帝都的两人，在那里与四家之一、犬神附体者里见莉芳重逢，命运的浪漫谭就这样正式拉开了帷幕。由StudioDEEN打造的TV动画已于今年1月正式开播，无论是美型的人设、精致的作画还是豪华的声优阵容，无疑都为这部作品增添了不少光彩。而在最终话播出前宣布TV动画第2季将于今年夏季推出，想必官方早有分割两季播放的打算了。
