剧情梗概：
经过修复和重新剪辑的终极版《东邪西毒》。片子取材于金庸的武侠神作《射雕英雄传》，但故事的主线变成了原著中不受人待见的欧阳锋（张国荣饰）。欧阳锋因为昔日恋人（张曼玉饰）赌气嫁给兄长而离开家乡白驼山，来到大漠中开了一家专门介绍杀手的酒舍。在沙漠的自我放逐中他重逢了好友黄药师（梁家辉饰），遇见了精分的慕容嫣（林青霞饰），深情的想念妻子桃花（刘嘉玲饰）却不想相见的夕阳武士（梁朝伟饰），倔强的复仇孤女（杨采妮饰），初来闯荡江湖的不穿鞋的洪七（张学友饰）。在经历了他人的生死、感情纠葛之后，欧阳锋得知了恋人的死讯，一切得到释然后他烧毁了酒舍，离开了沙漠修复版和94年版在画面、时长、配乐、标题、对白、镜头上都略有不同。角色介绍欧阳锋|演员张国荣欧阳锋在哥哥的大喜日子黯然离开，因为新嫂子是他深爱却不肯明言的女人。在自我放逐了10年之后，西毒在沙漠中开了一家旅店以替人介绍杀手为业，来往的都是一些新知旧友。嫂子死后两年，西毒才知道她的死讯，伤心之余喝了剩下的半坛醉生梦死酒，一切得到释然后他烧毁了酒舍，离开了沙漠。欧阳锋的嫂子|演员张曼玉她有着很无望的感情，但又似乎看透了一切，以时间为代价，在芦苇密布的河边看夕阳，站在异乡的高岗上怀念故人。她犹疑着，该不该去看看他，可是她深深地感到厌倦了，她的心再无力思念。慕容嫣|演员林青霞慕容嫣爱上了黄药师，找欧阳锋请他杀掉自己的哥哥慕容燕，因为他阻止自己与黄相爱。多年之后慕容嫣变成了江湖中鼎鼎有名的剑客独孤求败。黄药师|演员梁家辉黄药师是欧阳锋的好友，每年都要与锋畅饮一次。他既迷恋着好友的老婆桃花，也暗恋欧阳锋的嫂子。黄药师为了心爱的女人，喝下名为醉生梦死的酒，他自以为醉生梦死就可以忘记一切，但是归根到底不过是自欺欺人。最终，黄药师隐居桃花岛，绰号东邪。盲武士|演员梁朝伟盲武士在妻子与他最好的朋友黄药师有了情缘后离家，但死前念念不忘回家看看家乡的桃花，而那个拉着驴子带着鸡蛋想要找剑客为弟弟报仇的孝女，则让他彷佛看到家乡的桃花。洪七|演员张学友洪七是简单的，是直接的，所以他不想跟欧阳锋一样，他更会带着老婆闯荡江湖。但另一方面，他因为也想着跟欧阳锋不一样，而使得自己已经不是那么的简单与直接，导致付出了一只手指的代价。评价：大家都说《东邪西毒》是个经典片，于是时隔这么多年后我就把它看了。看的是终极版，画面被处理得跟油画似的，色彩饱和得有点儿过。但画面无所谓，主要是对白。对白应该不是每个人都能理解吧。或者这样说，大家经历的程度不一样，理解的深度就不一样。这片看下来很累，累在对白实在是太紧，又太贴近现实生活中不断上演的错位情感，于是一时间难以消化，很梗。加之很有冲击倾向的茫茫大漠的沧桑画面，带着浓郁的颜色铺张，给人压力实在太大。东邪西毒对白之紧，跟BeforeSunset那种噼里啪啦讲个不停的紧不一样。前者给人一种无法喘息的感觉，可能是跟王家卫有意控制的镜头有关。我认为片里的角色都是纠结狂，除了洪七。但看似Simple的洪七，也有过纠结，最后为了挽救一个鸡蛋，断了一指。但这一指之断，却让他彻底看清自己，看到自己未来的路数，然后向前走，越过欧阳锋不愿面对的高山。洪七离开白驼山那一刻，我想他必然为牵驴女子留下遗憾，这种遗憾，不知道他在老去的时候，会不会想起，或心中泛起一丝涟漪。
