剧情梗概：
香港高級督察陳輝一直負責多名滲入黑幫卧底的秘密任務.其手下Joe被派往入黑道紅人士巴拿的集團中,負責搜集其犯罪証據.可是,Joe在一次跟士巴拿往馬來西亞賽車的旅途中,突與王失去聯絡,王擔心此行是涉及與馬來西亞的毒品交易,更害怕Joe之身份被悉穿,遭遇不測.由於事態不明,為免打草驚蛇及暴露Joe之卧底身份,王決定派手下陳輝帶同三名自願參與行動的卧底：大技,Simon,及飛仔,於四十八小時內赴馬來西亞將Joe帶回......剧情版本二：两年前，高级督察程辉（吕良伟）带领部下围剿悍匪，辉重伤住院，出院后得知自己的得力部下Joe（吴彦祖）已被派到香港黑帮大哥士巴拿（柯受良）的帮会中卧底，阿Joe是程辉一手练习出来的警员，两人的关系亦师亦友，程辉对阿Joe十分器重，认为他是警队的精英，前途无量。两年过去了，阿Joe虽然与警方保持联络，但一直未能把握士巴拿的犯罪证据。直到有一天，士巴拿带领阿Joe去马来西亚与当地毒枭交易，发生了意外，阿Joe与总部失去联络。程辉得知此事后异常焦虑，由于事态不明，他不能以正式身份进行营救，只有临时组织了一个行动小组，小组的成员由程辉挑选，包括有：因贪污正被警方内部调查的警员Simon（郑浩南）；已退出警队加入了黑社会的阿飞（雷宇扬）以及被众人看不起的年轻警员阿王（王喜）。四人火速赶往马来西亚，不论死活要找出阿Joe的行踪。抵达马来西亚后，四人即遭遇不明身份枪手狙击，幸得程辉旧情人Phonixe（孟广美）搭救才得以脱险，但事情变得更加扑朔迷离，士巴拿被杀，阿飞意外身亡，当众人历尽千辛万苦找到阿Joe时，阿Joe的枪口竟指向了程辉.
