电影《Luz》的剧情简介：

Luz is a retired singer-songwriter who lives alone in her house located in a small cove in southern Chile. Immersed in her loneliness, one day she decides to consume a large quantity of ground pills to end her life. When she is about to ingest them, she hears screams from her neighbor's house. Luz decides to stop what she is doing to look outside of her window and see what is happening. An Afro-descendant girl is running away from her neighbor’s house Oscar, who is yelling at her and trying to keep her from leaving. After struggling, Renalda manages to escape to the street. Luz sees the girl passing in front of her house and decides to offer her help and care. Renalda accepts and ends up staying with Luz. While they have a cup of tea, the lady asks Reinalda about her life and she confesses her problems with Oscar. The next morning, Luz goes to her neighbor's work and asks for Renalda's belongings. This annoys Oscar, and while Renalda and Luz are away from the house, he throws Renalda's bag in her neighbor's garden. After getting her clothes back, Renalda is organizing them while Luz is on the phone agreeing to assist an event to which she was invited. Renalda enters the lady's room and lies down next to her. While comforting her, Luz tells her she was invited to sing, but she doesn’t extend the invitation to her. Next morning, Luz wakes up without Renalda by her side. The foreign woman decided to go to the fishmonger, her place of work to announce her resignation. Sara, her co-worker, surprised and sad about her departure, asks Renalda to wait until after her shift is over so they can walk together and talk. While they are talking and smoking, Renalda tells her how abusive Oscar has been. Sara, disturbed by the information, gives her advice and offers her help. While the conversation develops, they pass by a group of fishermen where Oscar is. He begins to follow her, yelling and insulting her from a distance. Renalda returns to Luz's house. That night, Renalda goes to the costumbrista fair where she can see Luz perform. While she’s there she runs into Oscar again, so she decides to make a quick exit to the beach but the fisherman continues to follow her. All of this while Luz keeps performing her song. The next day, Luz goes to Oscar's house looking for Renalda. But she’s not able to find any of them.
