While there, he is brutally beaten by a guard. Neophyte guard Henry Lesser feels sympathy for Panzram, befriends him, and gets him to write his life story. The killer diary is a plot, thriller, biography, criminal film. The film is adapted from a live event: Carl Panzram is in prison for theft, and meets the ideal rookie prison guard Henry Lesser in prison. The violent incident hated it, so when Carl proposed the unreasonable demand for the writing diary of paper and pen, it also helped. CARL recognized 20 killings in the diary, while sharply disclosed the darkness of the prison system. In the end, Carl killed the prison guard who had always abused him and was sentenced to hanging. Henry witnessed the process of executing the death penalty at the request of Henry at Carl. After Carl died, Henry published the diary written by Carl in prison after many efforts. Carl Panzram is sent to Leavenworth Prison for burglary. While there, he is brutally beaten by a guard. Neophyte guard Henry Lesser feels sympathy for Panzram, befriends him, and gets him to write his life story. Lesser learns that Panzram's past is much more VioLENT Than He Thought, But Also that he's capable of being a much better person than the rest of the prison staff believes -or so lesser Thinks.
