David Kobefield is a plot, love, adventure film, orphans David Coppofir (Freddie Bartholomew) in his childhood. Clara (Elizabeth Allan) married Mr. Modson (Basil Rathbone). The producer Selznik convinced the boss of MGM, the owner of MGM company, L. Meyer, to shoot the novel of Dickens. The film shows the rigorous production and luxury star lineup of the early 1930s, won the eighth Oscar best film, best director and best editing nomination, and nominated for the third Venice Film Festival Golden Lion Award.
