The structure of the crystal is a plot. Ma Like, an assistant professor at Warsaw University, trek for a long time to visit Yang, a good friend and college classmate who has been in the five years. 37 -year -old Yang gave up his college school seat and worked at a isolated meteorological station. He lived with his wife Anna and his grandfather, and his grandfather lived in a remote rural hut. There was no TV at home. The locals have no cultural life, and they are not with Yang Gege. Ma Like is a promising physicist. The expertise is to study artificial crystals. He has studied at Harvard University and Moscow for two and a half years. Ma Like has divorced and takes a cynical attitude towards work and love. He believes that there must be a return that pays, and he cannot understand why Yang can satisfy himself in this barren area. Ma Like described the scenery of Anna, proved the disadvantages of the beautiful life in the United States and the disadvantages of Soviet communism with a slide, causing Anna, who grew up in the remote areas since childhood. The two even had almost a relationship, but she eventually sent him away.
